My grandson received a gum kit as a "grab bag" Christmas gift – and was the envy of every other child and teenager at the party! Together we made he gum, which he took to another gathering the following night – and he and the "home-made" gum were the hit of the party! I am an elementary school science teacher and let me tell you, my students had a good time making gum. Unsweetened Kool-Aid proved to be the most satisfactory flavoring agent as it comes in so many varieties. We used the gum making during our study of Earth stewardship and talked about how the decisions we make here in America affect people thousands of miles away and vice-versa... The kits were a big hit and the use of them helped the stewardship message hit home.

Here are two reasons I buy Tangerine Glee:(1) It's my 4 year old son's favorite. I really love your cinnamon gum. It’s the best gum I've ever tasted. I also like it because it’s all natural. When I first put one in my mouth I knew I was going to buy a couple more packs. I have one pack now. I just got it on Saturday and I only have 5 left! I also like it because you have 18 pieces per pack. Most other gums have 10 or 12 pieces per pack. I'm begging my mom to get a make your own gum thing.

I'm in fifth grade and I'm a girl and I'm 10 years old. On October the sixteenth our E.S.L. teacher Mrs. Scarr bought a chewing gum kit and we had to write a report about it. Then we got to make it. It was really fun and messy. What I thought about it was great. I hope we can make it again.

I received your kit as part of my 65th Birthday present from my daughter… Anyway, I was like the proverbial kid in the candy store making up your chocolate kit this afternoon. I didn't have high expectations about the outcome so was very pleasantly surprised at the results! I used coconut, sunflower seeds, walnuts and raisins for various fillings as well as just the chocolate by itself. The resulting candy was amazingly good and now I can't stop eating it! Kudos to your company for not only coming up with a very novel idea, but also delivering a quality product. My afternoon was great fun indeed even though I'm sure I'll pay the piper tomorrow! LOL.

This kit was delightful to work with, In fact, my five year old grandson had no problem following the simple directions with my help. I realize the kit is marked for ages 8 and up but we found it to be a fun family project which resulted in really good chocolates. He used the cacao beans for show and tell at kindergarten. hank you for finding a way to make education fun.

I am a teacher of a 4th and 5th grade elementary school class. Last summer I ordered your Make Your Own Chewing Gum Kit to use with my 5th graders. I reasoned it would be a good activity to tie in with their literature book, Sign of the Beaver, which describes an Algonquin boy sharing tree sap "chaw" with a settler's boy. I am happy to report that the project was a great success, and my class enjoyed it immensely. They also enjoyed reading about the rain forest from the information enclosed with the kit. The project was such a hit that my 5th grade students this year have been asking if they will have the opportunity to make chewing gum as well. I am a seventh grade teacher in Atlanta, Georgia and I recently ordered extra packets of chicle so that my students and I could make gum at school. We had been studying the rainforest in Brazil and my students were pleasantly surprised to find that gum comes from trees that grow there. There is a NO GUM policy at school and throughout the year I had become famous for catching students chewing gum. As a terrific end of the year activity, I decided to use one of your kits to indulge my students’ passion for chewing gum. My students were totally amazed and definitely enjoyed the end results. We made two batches of gum per class and all of my students walked around with huge wads of gum in their mouths. The extra chicle gum base was wanted by all, so we had a raffle.
